About the House Named after the Indonesian term for ‘tempo’ in gamelan music, Irama House is situated within the pulse of an iconic neighbourhood, and offers eight studio rooms that sit overlooking Masjid Jamae and the ever-bustling Chinatown streets. The house is adorned with (literal) records of yesteryear – with album art, band photos, and vinyl records that pay homage to Singapore’s music history in the 70s and 80s. Irama House is a walkup residence with a configuration that makes it stand out from our other boutique homes. There are two separate entrances in the house which offer privacy and accessibility, and the common living and dining areas are situated on the third floor which connects sides of the home. Each studio has a detached restroom, with ample laundry, pantry, and kitchen space for all. From its full length curtains and colourful designs emblazoned across each feature wall, the studios are a must-see.
